We had a great time at our annual campout in Huntsville. We were so sad to miss last year. It made this year even better. Many friends from Lake Jackson came so we could catch up. And our friends from Lake Jackson that moved to San Antonio last year came as well. The kids picked up right where they left off with their friends from two years ago. The nights were colder than I anticipated. The kids slept fine but I was a little cold at times.
Tanner spent most of his time hunting ants with a friend or looking for snakes. He loved the slackline and canoeing.
Ashton spent her time playing with girls around her age. She also loved canoeing and would have enjoyed a longer canoe trip.
