2021 Goals

 Joseph
Physical: Run 2,000 miles over the year
Intellectual: Practice more soup recipes
Social: Play tag games with kids
Spiritual: Lead interactive scripture study with family

Casie
Physical: Physical therapy work (I'm doing some therapy for injuries from childbirth/postpartum. It takes several hours a week of appointments and exercises)
Intellectual: Improve family pizza night. I want to challenge myself to find the best crust recipe, sauce, toppings, etc.
Social: Continue to foster non-church playdates and relationships. We have a couple families in the neighborhood that we have gotten to know this school year. I want to continue and increase in those.
Spiritual: Patience! This breaks down into a few additional goals:
1. No online purchases until after 30 days. So if I think of something I want or "need," I have to wait 30 days before buying. Exception is if it is something for the kids (ie Ashton needs new headphones) or the house (our washer needed a replacement part).
2. Study patience in General Conference talks and write quotes around the house. This is to hopefully help me think about it more throughout the day.
3. Decrease yelling at my kids. Ha! I hope I see a decrease but I'm sure my kids won't think so.
4. Do not start another house/fun project until the others are complete. I am prone to starting one project, getting it mostly done but then finding another cooler project to do. I have a firm list of undone projects. I cannot add to that list until the entire list is done. This will help me stick to my plan more and suffer through parts of projects that I don't like as much.

Ashton
Physical: practice piano for 15 minutes/daily
Intellectual: Write a long sentence every day
Social: Ask her siblings nicely the first time
Spiritual: Share a scripture about baptism at Family Home Evening

Tanner
Physical: Play coach pitch (the next step up from tee ball)
Intellectual: Learn the rules of football or other sports
Social: Get better at cops and robbers! The neighborhood kids get together at least once a week to play cops and robbers. Tanner really wants to get good to beat the 10-12 year olds.
Spiritual: Say better prayers (This one is cute because every time he finishes a prayer, he now asks, "Did I improve my prayer?"
