Prior to Gemma's arrival, we had some fun things happen around our house.

Just past 37 weeks here. Last pregnancy picture I took.
Every year, the wards in our town host a "Back to Beef" activity. After the holidays, we go back to eating beef (after eating turkey and ham for the holidays) by having a huge lunch at a member's property. The night before, people can camp out while they smoke the meat. The property is on the river so there's fishing, canoeing, 4-wheelers, trampoline, tire swings, and lots of other fun things to do. Joseph and Ashton camped again this year and had a blast. Tanner and I went out the morning of the activity and played around a lot. It was wonderful to only have Tanner at home that morning as he slept until 8:45am. We enjoyed getting dirty and eating lots of yummy food.

Joe had his turnaround, which meant he worked from about 4 or 5am to about 7pm every day for four weeks. He got one Saturday off, which was nice. He won't have another one until next spring but that is one is scheduled for about 8 weeks. The nice part is that it is planned so far ahead so I can prepare myself mentally and physically for long days and weeks. We were just grateful Gemma held off until after the turnaround ended by a couple of days. The kids and I enjoyed a lazy few weeks with easy meals, ice cream nights, and a few extra family movie nights.

They're definitely getting better at playing together.

Picking flowers together.
I organized another trip to the local fire department this spring and the kids loved it. Ashton and Tanner enjoyed spraying the water and checking out the fire equipment.
There was a father daughter dance on Valentine's day for our mutual activity at church. Ashton couldn't wait to go and spend the night dancing with Daddy. Tanner enjoyed dancing with a bunch of the young women as well.

Best picture I have. Someone was taking pictures for the night but I haven't seen those yet.
