Month of June

We had a pretty uneventful month of June so far. Here are the highlights.

Her hair fits into cute pigtails. The problem is she pulls on them about 5 minutes after doing her hair.
She likes to wrap the towel around herself and run around the house.
This was Joe's Father's Day gift. I made him a new lunch box with a vinyl picture frame on it. It turned out really well.
Joseph had a work picnic and they had a snow cone booth. Ashton wasn't too sure of eating snow cones. She also got her face painted but didn't last long to take a good picture.
We spent the month dealing with two colds, which evolved into using her nebulizer both times. She's such a pro now that she holds it herself.
Ashton found an ant. This is how she is with every single ant she sees. The problem is ants in Texas bite so sometimes she walks away with another ant bite.
We also got bedroom furniture. We used to have two plastic drawer sets for our dressers and we bought those when we got married. It was time for an upgrade so when our stock money came, we bought some nice furniture. We went from having six drawers total to having 21 drawers! We don't know what to do with all of them quite yet.
Of course, our bedroom doesn't look this nice. I wish!
Ashton has some words that she mispronounces. It's comical to hear her say them. Here are some recent ones of her's.

Flop-pops - This means flip-flops. She has a pair she wears all the time and she'll yell around the house for her flop-pops.

Dumpkin - This means pumpkin. We planted a pumpkin plant in our garden and Ashton is very concerned about it. When Tropical Storm Bill came through, we weren't sure if the garden would survive so we were worried for her as well. Since the storm was non-existent, her dumpkin is okay.

What a beautiful bedroom set! My favorite picture, though, is of Ashton examining the ant. She's a cutie!
