Desperate for Help

So I've realized that eventually my life will get busier with who knows what... but I am positive one day I will wake up and regret not taking advantage of these years where I don't have much to stress about other than making sure my socks match. With that, I want to create a list of things to do during the next few years or perhaps a Bucket List before Joseph starts working/graduate school in a few years. Joe and I've talked about a cruise for a while and we will hopefully go this summer. And then we're taking our trip to California next spring but I want more ideas. Here's my preliminary list. PLEASE help me think of more!!!

- Go Whitewater rafting in Utah
- Go to Bear Lake in Logan, UT
- Go on a cruise
- Hike Mt. Timp with Joseph
- Learn to knit
- Read some books (don't know which ones...)
- More sewing projects

Those of you who have lived in Utah a lot, what are fun excursions to do?

Thanks for your help!

Go to Zion's
Camp in Goblin Valley
Spend some time at Bear Lake (SO fun! Rent a jet ski, if you can, and be sure to get some raspberry shakes)
In Wyoming is Yellowstone and the Tetons--gorgeous
Have you seen the Great Salt Lake?
There's some cool places in southern CO, too, but that might be a little far.

My family always goes to a different place for vacation, so I've got lotsa trip ideas. If you're looking for more "bucket list" items, here's a list of things I tried to do before I turned 21. I only ended up doing about half of them...: _1. Stick to a fitness program for more than 6 weeks
X 2. Take a family name to the Temple
_3. Sew a quilt
_4. Bake a cake from scratch
_5. Run a 5K
_6. Actually DIVE off the diving board
_7. Watch all of The Lord of the Rings
X 8. GET A DRIVERS LICENSE
_9. Submit something to a writing contest or student journal
_10. Read the whole newspaper
_11. Read a whole National Geographic issue
_12. Write to a favorite author after reading everything they ever published
_13. Write something at the end of every day for a month
_14. Hike a 14er or Mt. Timp.
_15. Learn to play something on guitar (Spanish Ballad if we're ambitious)
_16. Tie a note to a balloon and let it go. (I've always wanted to do this.:)
_17. Try starfruit
_18. Make a photo essay
_19. Plan a trip
_20. Play a game of chess at Chess Club at BYU
X 21. Try one new thing (a food, an activity, anything that isn't on here already.)

Good luck!

for sure do southern utah, there are so many cool parks and things to see down there! You can also cross into arizona and see lake powell and antelope slot canyon. If you get a national parks pass it is good for a full year and you can get into everything with anyone who fits in your car.

I never got to do it but they have little trips you can take on the Heber Creeper that always looked fun.

sundance film festival is probably going on now, it is fun to try and get into a movie.

Do the special tour in Timpanogos cave.

If dinosaur nat'l monument reopens it's exhibits anytime soon, go to that.

Hike King's Peak (the tallest in Utah.)

Have fun, we miss all the amazing stuff there is to do in Utah!
